Warwick Design and NHS Innovations East Midlands Team win Regional Award. Warwick Design has been working with NHS Innovations East Midlands and consultant ophthalmologist John Stokes of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to develop a novel surgical tool for use in cataract surgery.
The project to has been highly commended recently at the Da Vinci Health Technology Innovation Awards held at Loughborough University Mr John Stokes there to receive the award on behalf of the team, together with Dr Lisa Banks, Innovations Manager from NHS Innovations East Midlands and Andrew Gibbs from Warwick Design.
John Stokes worked with NHS Innovations East Midlands to determine the business potential and the team then called upon the development services of product design partners Warwick Design Consultants.
