National NHS Innovation Awards 2008

Warwick Design with NHS Innovations East Midlands win National Award for a new surgical tool for use in cataract surgery.

The project won the top prize in the Medical Devices category of the National Awards held in December at the Magic Circle, London.

Andrew Gibbs, Design Manager at Warwick Design, received the award on behalf of the team.  Dr Lisa Banks, Innovations Manager from NHS Innovations East Midlands was present at the ceremony.

We were very pleased our invited guests Dr Nicola Bailey and Dr Sharron Bennet from the Wellcome Trust, also pictured, were able to attend .
